I Miss You All

Summertime Blues

It's hot outside. And muggy. And I have to go to the beach twice a week. Yes, go right ahead and tell me how lucky I am...it's not my idea of a summer vacation. Anyway, I'm being stretched this summer and I suppose it is good for me.

Van "the Man" Morrison is aptly nicknamed...great tunes.

I'm going to watch "Mask of the Phantasm" tonight. I wish I had time this summer to get all the series DVDs from the library and watch through them.

I'm taking up letter writing this summer. Message me with your address if you would like a letter.

I've not taken nearly enough naps this summer.

I haven't read "Works of Love" in a month.

Wayne Kirpatrick should record more of his own songs.

Clarification Station

Due to my writing style, the subject matter, and the medium, there is a chance that mine and Gina's post may sound pretentious, patronizing, or even over-spiritualized. I don't intend any of those things...I just wanted to do something that will help give me focus and direction and say again that I don't think all our talk about community is just rhetoric. Just so you know. Like I said, I want this post to spark conversation and prayer. I thank those of you who have already taken me up on that.
